PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
We process your personal data when providing our services in hypnotherapy practice. Processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another individual.
To inform you how we handle your personal data, we have prepared this privacy statement.
For proper treatment, it is necessary that Hypnotherapeut Rotterdam, as your treating therapist, submit a file. This is also a legal obligation imposed by the WGBO. Your file contains notes about your health status and information about the examinations and treatments performed.
We also process personal data for the legitimate interests listed below:
· The improvement of the treatment process
· The protection of financial interests
If personal data is processed on the basis of consent, the file will be requested separately.
The file also contains treatment-related information that we have requested, after your explicit permission, from another care provider, for example from the general practitioner.
PROVISION TO THIRD PARTIES
Personal data may be provided to third parties as a part of our services.
These third parties may also only process your personal data for the aforementioned purposes. This can only happen with your explicit permission, and the data can only be used with the aim of observation, during the hypnotherapist’s absence, or for the anonymized use during peer evaluation.
A small part of the data from your file is used for financial administration, so that we can prepare an invoice.
If we want to make use of your data for another reason, we will first inform you and request your explicit permission.
Your personal data could also be provided with regards to a legal obligation or court order.
We do not provide your information to commercial or charity organizations.
We do not pass any personal data to parties established outside the EU.

As your treating therapist, Therapeut Rotterdam is the only individual who has access to the data in your file. Therapeut Rotterdam has a legal confidentiality obligation (professional secrecy).
